UAE and Uganda Strengthen Diplomatic Ties to Boost Cooperation and Development

The United Arab Emirates and Uganda are taking steps to deepen their bilateral relations, with a renewed focus on expanding cooperation across key sectors.

This follows the delivery of a written message from Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni to UAE authorities, signaling a shared commitment to strengthening diplomatic and economic ties between the two nations.

The message was presented during a meeting between Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan and Uganda’s ambassador to the UAE. During the discussions, both sides explored opportunities to enhance collaboration in areas that support mutual development goals.

Officials emphasized the importance of building on existing relations, noting that stronger partnerships could unlock new avenues for economic growth and cooperation. The UAE reiterated its readiness to work closely with Uganda to advance shared interests and promote prosperity.
