In Ghana, the government has strengthened tourist safety through trained tourist police and improved security in major attractions such as Cape Coast, Mole National Park, and Kakum National Park. The country is also promoting eco-tourism, local businesses, and conservation projects, which are creating jobs while preserving wildlife and cultural sites.
Uganda is recognized for its successful conservation-driven tourism, especially mountain gorilla trekking. Strict safety rules, trained guides, and reinvestment of tourism revenue into conservation and local communities have made Uganda a model for sustainable wildlife tourism.
