UGANDA: Vivo Energy Launches Initiative to Support Education in Communities

Kampala — Vivo Energy Uganda has announced a new program aimed at supporting school-going children by partnering with local communities and parents.

The initiative, called Fuel Their Future, seeks to ease the financial pressure on parents and help children continue their education without disruption. Through this program, Vivo Energy plans to provide assistance that will directly benefit students and families in the areas where the company operates.

The company said the initiative is part of its broader commitment to giving back to the communities it serves, ensuring that children have better opportunities to stay in school and succeed academically.

By working closely with parents and local leaders, Vivo Energy hopes to create sustainable support systems for education, reinforcing the importance of community involvement in the development of young learners.

The Fuel Their Future initiative follows a growing trend among private companies in Uganda to play an active role in social development, particularly in education and health.
