VERY SAD: COUPLE MURDERED AT RETIREMENT HOME IN ENTEBBE

A Ugandan couple who had just retired after over 30 years in Zurich Switzerland was murdered at their retirement home in Entebbe.

David Mutaaga and his wife Deborah Mutaaga-Nabeeta (in pic) were both found dead lying in pools of blood.

According to preliminary reports provided by the area police officer commanding, David and his wife Deborah were stabbed to death at around 21:00hrs on Sunday night.

David’s body was found at the gate area while his wife’s body was in the bathroom.

There seems to have been a scuffle between David and the assailant from inside the house up to the gate where his body was found.

It is said that David’s wife reached out to some people by phone regarding the attack while she was still alive.

There is no indication of forced entry at the crime scene which has a perimeter wall and security cameras that were not tampered with.

Further information indicates that the killer is suspected to have entered the yard by climbing the perimeter wall using a nearby electric pole.

The victims had hosted a couple of guests during the day and they reportedly had two casual employees who had already left at the time of the incident.

Police will retrieve CCTV footage to help with investigations.
