Netanyahu Gifts Trump ‘B-2 Mezuzah’ in Symbolic Nod to US Strike on Iran

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has presented former U.S. President Donald Trump with a symbolic and highly personalized gift—a mezuzah shaped like a B-2 stealth bomber, the same aircraft used in the recent U.S. airstrike on Iran’s nuclear facility at Fordow.

The gesture was made on Thursday, July 10, 2025, and is seen as a strong message highlighting the continued strategic and military alliance between Israel and the United States.

The mezuzah, a traditional Jewish symbol usually affixed to doorposts, holds religious significance and is often given as a token of protection and blessing. By crafting it in the shape of a B-2 bomber, Netanyahu connected faith, defense, and shared geopolitical interests in a single gesture.

The reference ties directly to the events of June 22, when the United States carried out coordinated strikes on three Iranian nuclear sites—Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. The operation involved B-2 stealth bombers and Tomahawk cruise missiles launched from American submarines. At Fordow, GBU-57 bunker-busting bombs were deployed to hit deeply fortified uranium enrichment tunnels buried beneath the mountains.

The gifting of the mezuzah symbolizes not only appreciation for Trump’s stance on Iran but also reaffirms the deep-rooted defense cooperation between Washington and Tel Aviv. Netanyahu’s choice of gift is widely seen as a public endorsement of the military response and a shared resolve to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons.

The move has sparked discussion among observers, with some interpreting it as a diplomatic signal of unity in confronting regional threats, while others see it as a carefully crafted reminder of recent military action and its strategic implications.
