Seikwa, Ghana – Tragedy has struck in Seikwa, Tain District, Bono Region, after a 27-year-old woman identified as Serwaa reportedly died in her boyfriend’s room shortly after spending the night with him.
According to local reports, Serwaa had gone to visit her boyfriend last weekend and decided to spend the night at his residence.
The following morning, while she was seated in a chair, her boyfriend went to take a shower.
When he returned, he was shocked to find Serwaa unresponsive.
Efforts to wake her up were unsuccessful, and she was quickly rushed to a nearby health facility, where doctors pronounced her dead on arrival.
The sudden death has left the community in shock, with many struggling to understand what could have happened to the young woman, who was reportedly in good health before her visit.
Police in Seikwa have since launched investigations into the matter. The body has been taken to a hospital morgue for postmortem to establish the exact cause of death.
Residents have speculated about possible health complications or poisoning, but authorities have cautioned the public against spreading unverified information until medical examinations are complete.
Meanwhile, Serwaa’s family has been left devastated. Relatives described her as a cheerful young woman with a bright future ahead of her.
Police say updates will be shared once the postmortem results are released.
