COMEX 2025 Showcases Future Tech in Oman

Muscat – His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, officially opened the 34th edition of the COMEX Global Technology Show 2025 at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre on Monday September 8, 2025.

The annual exhibition is one of the biggest technology events in the region, attracting innovators, entrepreneurs, and companies from Oman, the Middle East, and across the world.

This year’s COMEX is focused on emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and the growing space industry. Visitors will also see practical solutions in areas like education, health, business, and public services.

Organisers say COMEX 2025 provides a unique platform for Omani youth and startups to showcase their innovations while connecting with global industry leaders. It also supports Oman’s Vision 2040, which aims to accelerate digital transformation and strengthen the country’s position as a regional tech hub.

In addition to exhibitions, the three-day event will feature panel discussions, product launches, and workshops designed to highlight how technology can drive growth, job creation, and knowledge-sharing.

The event is expected to draw thousands of visitors, including government officials, investors, and technology enthusiasts eager to explore the latest trends shaping the future.
