The People’s Liberation Party (Chaumma) has launched its 2025 election manifesto, promising major reforms aimed at improving governance, protecting rights, and giving more power to the people.
During the manifesto launch, party leaders said their plan focuses on decentralization of government services, ensuring that local communities have more control over decisions that affect their daily lives.
Chaumma also pledged to improve social services such as health and education, guaranteeing that every citizen can access quality care and learning opportunities without discrimination.
A key part of the manifesto is human rights protection and the establishment of an independent anti-corruption body to fight misuse of public funds. The party also promised strong ethical leadership, holding all government officials accountable for their actions.
Speaking at the launch, Chaumma leaders said the manifesto was designed with ordinary citizens in mind. “Our mission is to put people first. This is not just about politics; it is about building a fair and just Tanzania where everyone has a voice,” one official said.
The manifesto comes as the country prepares for the 2025 General Election, where Chaumma hopes to win public trust by presenting itself as a fresh alternative to traditional politics.
Analysts say the proposals could attract voters looking for accountability and transparency in government, though questions remain about how the party will fund and implement these promises if elected.
