Beloved Rwandan Gospel Singer Gogo Passes Away After Ministry Trip to Uganda

Musabyimana Gloriose, widely known as Gogo, a cherished Rwandan gospel singer, has sadly passed away in Rwanda following a ministry trip to Uganda. She died on the night of September 3, 2025, after a brief illness, according to a medical report from Kyegera Doctors Center.

Gogo traveled to Uganda on August 28, 2025, to participate in a gospel event held in Mbarara from August 29 to 31. The event was a success, and she and her team then went to Kampala for a planned meeting with a promotional company. Her representative, Bikem Uwayesu, who accompanied her throughout the trip, confirmed these details.

After returning to Rwanda, Gogo’s health suddenly worsened. Friends and family initially believed it was a minor issue, as she had faced similar health challenges before. Unfortunately, her condition deteriorated rapidly, and despite being admitted to the hospital, she passed away that same night.

Gogo was not only a talented gospel singer but also a social media personality known for her inspiring worship and praise songs that touched many lives. Her passing has left a deep sadness among fans, family, and the gospel music community.

Her legacy of faith and uplifting music continues to inspire those who knew her and those who have been touched by her songs.
